Hi everyone. Got a slight question here.
How do you make a simple power supply for a microphone? I have a Sony
Professional Walkman that has a small pair mic. It will only work in
the Walkman and my (also Sony) vido camera. On other equipment, the
signal is to faint to record. A quick circuit diagram in ascii will
suffice. Both the Walkman and the Vido camera say "plug in power" next
to the mic jack so I figure it is some kind of phantom power-type thing.
If I connect a lead to the mic jack it shows about 1.5 VDC on my
voltmeter in record mode.
Also does anyone have a circuit diagram for a transformer to convert
standard coax cable to 3 pin XLR? I want to build one into a small
project-thingie.
... Pentium: Housing with central heating built in.
