Hi, Sondra,
SB> I used to know a person (it's strange how people sometimes just
SB> disappear from our lives) whose kid brother was trash picking lawn
SB> mowers, and building working motorized stuff from them, when he was
SB> six. A really talented kid. I wonder whatever happened to that child?
SB> Let's see: he'd be about 22 or 23 now. Hmmm ..... Maybe he went to
SB> college or something ....
He sounds like the type of person we'll all be hearing from sometime down
the road. With talent like that, he's bound to come up with some
ingenious invention and make both a name and a bundle for himself.

SB> Weird parking arrangement. We are allowed to park on our streets
SB> whenever we want, except for the fist and third Tuesdays of the month.
SB> On those days we are not allowed to park on our streets at all. We

SB> with this huge, LOUD machine.
The parking arrangement is quite common in cities that get snowed on
frequently in winter. In some places it's alternate side parking so they
can plow the streets, one side on one night and the other the next night.
In other places they declare a snow emergency during which there's no
on-street parking. At least it's only in the winter.
Take care,
Robin
