Looking for information about state or federal regulations that put specific
areas of coastal waters off limits to oil vessels, based on potential
impacts to living marine resources should the vessel ground or otherwise
spill petroleum product into the particular waters in question.
Some US National Marine Sanctuaries have such limitations. Do any states in
the United States restrict oil vessels from certain waters due to potential
impacts to living marine resources?
Do any other nations?
