David was waived by Sparky Anderson and then ranted:
DL> Albert Belle is a great player, on offense, and a merely so so on
DL> defense. While Belle may think of himself as one of the current great
DL> players of the game, it hard to view such a one dimensional player as
DL> truly great.
Really? You seem to fawn all over Frank Thomas, who is worse at his position
than Albert is at his.
DL> As great as Belle's agent said he was, and despite how much Belle
DL> thought he was worth, few team seemed interested in meeting Belle's
DL> price tag. Believe it was three, the White Sox, Marlins and somebody.
Believe you were wrong. Albert was wanted by more than them, including
Cleveland. His price tag might have been out of the range of some teams,
however, that didn't mean that they didn't covet him, even with his problems.
DL> How good will the White Sox be with Belle, Frank Thomas, and Robin
DL> Ventura in the heart of their batting order? I don't know and only time
DL> will tell.
Better than what Cleveland is going to put forward.
