I use Cubus with CSet++ v2.1.  All the makefiles are for NMAKE, I am
using nmake v4.00.000.  The nmake 5.x beta seems buggy (or not backwards
compatible?).

Try using nmake.

btw, check my home page for a list of bugs/fixes for Cubus.  There are
only two so far, one bug fix and one hack (both from the author).

Waiting on a fix for ODate now, though.
