RS> Where I live DS9 is on FOX. Reruns of TNG are also being shown on FOX.
RS> Why not show ST:Generations on FOX as well?
The reason you (apparently) see DS9 and TNG on FOX is because the FOX
affiliates have the rights to show the series in your area. The
reason that Generations will be seen on the FOX network is because
they outbid the other networks for the rights to show it.
DS9 and TNG have always been syndicated. TOS, TAS, were and VOY is a
network show. TOS and TAS were on NBC, and VOY is on UPN.
You have to pay more attention, lovely Rita, meter maid. In my area,
DS9, TNG, VOY, and TOS are all seen on the UPN affliate. Up until
last season, DS9 (new episodes) and TOS were seen on the FOX affliate,
and DS9 (pervious seasons,) TNG, and VOY were seen on the UPN
affliate. As a matter of fact, our UPN affliate touts itself as
"Central New York's Star Trek Station."
