Hi Hugo--
Not necessarily. There are many important upgrades that aren't seen
by SysLevel. SysLevel doesn't tell you what BuildLevel your kernel is
at, or everything that is contained in that kernel. For example,
according to the literature in DevCon 12, my Warp 3 kernel after
applying FixPak 26 (BuildLevel 8.250) contains the latest version of
Open32; SysLevel doesn't mention Open32. The lazy users want the
program they are trying to run to be able to tell them if all of its
antecedents are present.
I'm with Dave Noon. The user has to know what is in his system, and
the requirements of the application desired to be run, before attempting
to run it. There is no single program that will supply all the answers.
This requires reading a few manuals!
