I am contemplating growing peas on the balcony. I fancy using 
some ice-cream tubs (about fifteen litre capacity) for the peas 
themselves, in sheltered corner, way from the hot late afternoon 
sun. I'll drill a few holes in the mortar and attach trellis 
wires for training the pea vines.
I've already bought the packets (two different varieties). 
Has anyone out there evr tried growing peas in a tub?
