 RS> Hallo All,

RS> I just installed an Symbios (NCR) 810A PCI SCSI-adapter in my IBM

This sounds like a defect. I suggest you tell NCR.

RS> Does anybody know whether it is possible to initialize a SCSI-adapter
 RS> and/or harddisk from an OS/2-program?

Unless there is an IOCtl to do this in the driver, you will not e able to
do it.

RS> Or does anybody know another solution so I don't have to create such

If the existing device driver has a reset IOCtl, a program to use it is trivial,
If not, you'll be writing a new device driver :-(
