Using the ip address is good - until it changes.  Not likely with a site
like that (but similar sites that don't self-host may change occasionally
if they move to a different hosting service).

Best bet is use it until it stops working.  At that point, use nslookup
with a known good dns server (not that of your ISP, although they should
be made to fix it!).
