It seems I could not and still cannot reach news.ecomstation.nl because 
my isp's dns server does not recognize the .nl domain.  I asked for and 
someone supplied the ip address for the server. I plugged it into 
Mozilla's server setup and now I can connect to it.  So is this a 
permanent solution to futere possible dns problems or is there some 
gotcha in continuing to use the ip addressed instead of thd full domain 
address?
