What can you guys tell me about Windows server licensing? ISTR there was some kind of deal where you could pay per user and then however many Windows servers you have are covered? Failing that, and bearing in mind that we don't have AD because we're still on NDS, although there is some kind of third-party thing that helps our Windows and Novell boxes talk to each other, what O/S licensing scheme do you suggest for our new SQL Server boxes? One will have about 500 users, the other about 50. Some users will access the databases over the web. We are going with the per-CPU license for SQL Server. TIA. :) --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-5* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/45 1 633/267 |
