I can't help but wonder if Ms. DeeLuded Myers would be as cool,
calm, and forgiving if SHE was the GROPEE... GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
I had an experience similar to Kathleen Willey's when I was a teen:
Let me tell you, it IS a frightening experience... It can carry the
same baggage as a rape: you feel dirty, ashamed, angry, depressed...
and powerless in an awful situation. That happened a LONG time ago,
and I HAD gotten over it and had all but forgotten the incident --
but reading about Willey's experience & seeing the cavalier attitude
of supposed "women's leaders" (well, they were never MY leaders --
even as a teenager I was against the feminist movement) has brought
back memories and re-opened the wound enough to get me REALLY angry!
How *DARE* them make light of Willey's assault because it was done
by someone they "respect." Many, if not most, assaults are done by
people respected by, or close to, the victim. Yet they have bent over
backwards, performing polemic gymnastics, shielding a sexual predator,
simply because he is the "president"... It is totally DISGUSTING!!!
