subject: Netware Client 2.12 for OS/2

                                Montevideo, October 3, 1997
Hi all there!
        I've installed Netware Client 2.12 on OS/2 Warp 3.0, connected to a
Netware 4.1 server.
I need to set up a DOS PRIVATE session with full NDS access (not
bindery emulation).
I tried 2 get it step by step. First, the docs say that I could get
NDS access with a GLOBAL DOS session. But when I finished setting it, I only
got a bindery emulated session (with no NDS nor object properties (login
scripts, etc.)).
The second step, was to set the private session. As it's recommended,
I created a 'specific DOS version' boot disk, with MSDOS 6.22 to use VLM'S. I
can load LSL, but IPXODI requires the DOS NIC driver to be installed (I can't
install such a driver, because OS/2 driver is already installed); as a
result, VLM's don't want to load with full support.
The question is simple: How can I get a DOS session with PRIVATE
Netware Resources and NW 4.01 compatibility (NDS access) fully functional?
!!!
I really will be very pleased If you give me some advise, because my
clients are quite angry with me :) Thank you very much
Regards,
                        Andr‚s Cianciaruso
