subject: DOG EATING NOT!

Mike:
All of this should, of course, be run by your veterinarian.
When my doggie had a temporary liver ailment, he quit eating. Once
the ailment was solved, he still didn't have an appetite. To get him started
again, there is a youth growth hormone that was animal tested on dogs. One of
the side effects on dogs is a sharp increase in appetite. I think it's called
Megace. It's not inexpensive.
To keep the momentum, as others have admitted, take him to the Taco
Bell, or KFC, or.... Again, check with the vet - this worked for me. At
home, fix him some pasta with garlic and medium hot chili peppers. Dogs love
garlic anyway - note the ingredients on sone of the canned food. And the
chili peppers, which have a stimulative effect on us, seem to have the same
effect on our doggies.
Let me know if you try this, and whether it works.
Good wishes,
Joe
