As long as the operators don't give up on it after a couple of months
it *should* work out ok.

It took me about 8 months to drag C64ers out of the closets to call my
BBS.  IOW, they *are* here, but it takes time to arouse them.

Forget the mail... if you wanna attract the C64ers to call then all you
need is a good comprehensive download area. That is the only reason 90%
of CBM users use modems for in the first place.
