Anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't been following the news for the last forty
or more years. Americans have been getting murdered  and kidnapped by Arabs
who hate Israel, and hate America for their direct support of Israel since
day-one of modern-day Israel's coming into existence.


One of the many reasons why I was glad Vern Humphrey didn't get elected to
congress was he thinks a lot like you do; he flat-out denies the truth that is
as plain as day: its about Israel and America's support for Israel. The Arabs,
under various monikers, and Israel, have been fighting and killing each other
for a couple of thousand years....since the days of Abraham. Vern Humphrey in
the U.S. Congress would have been just another member-of-congress-lobbiest for
Israel. Thats the last thing we need.


What we *do* need is a congress that stops sending Israel aid and comfort,
lets it sink or swim on its own hook, and stop dragging us into situations
where Arabs are retaliating on Americans for its support of one of the Arab's
sworn enemies!


The Arabs hate Israelites of any flavor........Israelites hate Arabs of all
flavors. Its been an ongoing fight to the death between the two for a couple
of thousand years, and shows every sign of continuing until the very last Arab
and the very last Israeli left alive wipe each other out in a mutual-suicide
bombing!


Since you (among a lot of other people) refuse to look at Israel with anything
but those rose-colored glasses you all wear.....you see now why I rarely if
ever become involved in discussions about Israel and its relationship to the
United States.


If it weren't for our relationship with Israel since the day the U.S.
recognized Israel as a `state' back in 1948(?), we wouldn't be embroiled in
war with Arab terrorists today! The 9\11 attack would never have happened.
