Ehh, more than likely while he was developing Mystic's mailer and tosser,
I'm sure he took a look at most (if not all) of the currently used software
out there in order to understand what he was doing and implement it
correctly!

Of course he does. Anyone has a choice to use whatever they want. And when
his problem was more than likely operator error, he asks in the appropriate
place for some help - which does not require changing software at all. ;)
