subject: HighSpeed modem-comm

Hi!

Do I have to do anything "out of the ordinary" to be able to
communicate via
the modem at high speed? I've got this example-application that only goes to
19200, and I've heard that on DTEs over 19200 you have to be an expert on
modem communication, to be able to use compression, is this true? Or is it
just a matter of setting the baud rate to 115200 or whatever.

(The reason I am asking, is that I plan on beginning on this project of mine
that will require me to write high speed com-funcs).

Thank you very much!
