Dave, if you attempt to exercise the above "right" here in Maryland you
are going to lose your gun, your car, possibly your home.  Do some jail
time.  Carry a felony record for the rest of your life.  And that's if
your lucky.  In places like Baltimore and PG county, they have a habit
of shooting pretty damn quickly upon seeing something like a gun laying
on a seat beside the driver.
I don't know about you, but I've run afoul of cops many many times
exercising my legal rights.  Be they right to assemble, free speach,
free passage, and probably several more if I'd think about them.
