        Hi Shoshi:  I just heard this on a self-defense bit on the tube last
Sunday regarding guns.  Couple this with what has already been chisled in
stone I have found that.
1.  When a firearm is used, the victim is within 25 feet.
2.  When a citizen shoots a firearm, they hit something they want to hit less
    than 15% of the time.
3.  When a Peace Officer uses a firearm, he also miss most of the time in a
    situation where he is in a battle with another.
4.  When an assault weapon is used, it was most effectively used as it was
    used at the Waco Massacre.
5.  The assault weapon was intended for assaulting an objective OR to repel
     a superior force >>> AS could have been used at Waco or Ruby Ridge<<<
     where innocents were proven to have been murdered, this including the
     assasination of errant Government peace officers.
6.  As with accidents involving firearms, more kids are injured or killed in
    bicycle aqccidents nationwide.
7.  Accidental injury is directly proportional to the number of uninvolved
    people who are advised of the misuse of firearms nationwide. Stats are
    never mentioned.
8.  In a case of an assailant shooting someone.  They really have no 
ntention
    to actually use the weapon.
9.  In all cases of confrontation, less than 10% are ever shot!  That secret
    is to never go to a secondary crime scene at ANY cost!
10. Essentially, from the reality point of view, (and as by way  of example)
    the assault weapon was nest used in assault against Paris by the Nazis.
    Since that time, this administration has banned half the weapons used in
    Paris against the Nazis!
11. Believe it or not, less than 5% of the population either possesses an
    assault weapon or has converted them back to sporting weapons.  Some
    assault weapons can be converted to sporting arms which are effective.
12. Most weapons are not worth using eeven in a military use such as the M-16
    which becomes a risk to the user if dropped on concrete or are subjected 
to
    water or mud.
13. Juhn Huang attempted to import 4 million dollars worth of AK-47s destined
    for the gangs of California.  Huang was a major player in Clinton 
politics.
14. All in all, the mere brandishing of a firearm has >>>saved<<< the lives 
f
    over 400,000 potential victims!
15. The sound of a firearm is more effective in causing a burglar to take
    flight from a crime scene.
16. With Mr. Brady, so far, all presidents elected in a year ending in zero
    have been at risk of any threat of mortal sickness or assasination.]
    All people responsible for the safety of someone else know the risk 
efore
    they get involved.
          As in all cases, I would be at greater risk if confronted with
anyone associated with Janet Reno or William Clinton.  And too, if I had a
firearm or someone thought I may have a firearm, I would have my personal
safety and happiness secured.
        I personally find the attempts by the government despots to increase
control over me repugnant.  To take away freedoms I have enjoyed since birth
is not conducive to protecting America.
        In the revolutionary war, the invaders faced a greater risk at the
hands of the populace rising up against them  than the Contintental Army.
Such as the Green River Men who were the first to fight as guerillas.

foreign control!  If they are irrevocably bound for Hell, let them be on

way and leave the rest of us alone in peace, safety and domestic tranquility.
