Almost ...
I had to resort to Lewisohn for the details as all I could remember was
that it was John who missed a couple of performances.
On Tuesday 12 March 1963 at the Granada, Bedford "This was a three-man
Beatles performance because a heavy cold kept John in bed."
An early outing for the Threatles! John also missed the gigs at York
(13th) and Wolverhampton (14th).
Paul's flu was, indeed, late 1963. However, the performance in
Portsmouth on 12th November was postponed. The only time a gig was
postponed due to illness.
There were 2 other postponed gigs:
Birmingham, UK; 11 Jan '63 - due to blizzards
Cincinnati, US; 20 Aug '66 - due to heavy rain
There is a section at the back of Lewisohn detailing "Engagements not
played".
