In january, I had a thread going about the PM freezing up irregularly 
with an AOpen AX3SP/Pro motherboard. Changing BIOS settings like the 
">64MB" setting helped but did not eliminate the problem. It still 
occurred especially when holding down a cursor key in Excel 5.
I would like to communicate that the problem has now been completely 
resolved by a motherboard BIOS update (from version 1.00 to 1.17). The 
mystery remains why another two PCs with the same MB/CPU running Win 
98/2 never had a similar problem.
