DM> BC> One good book on multi-threading is "Client/Server Programming with DM> BC> OS2 2.1" 3rd edition, by Robert Orfall and Dan Harkey, ISBN DM> BC> 0-442-01833-9. The book spends several chapters on multi-threading, in DM> BC> OS2, and the rest on how to use multi-threading in client/server DM> BC> applications. Damn good read. DM> DM> Unfortunately, this book is no longer in print. Do you know of DM> anyone who might have back copies of it for sale? I have a hard DM> time getting OS/2 books around here. Your right, I checked the Wiley's (the publisher) homepage and it is no longer listed. I did find that the Computer Literacy Bookshop (http:\\www.clbooks.com) has copies. Could I also recommend the book "Designing High Powered OS2 Warp Application - The Anatomy of Multithreaded Programs" By David Reich ISDN 0-471-11586-X. It is also published by John Wiley and I did see that book on Wiley's homepage. Happy hunting Bill Internet address wchriste{at}eagle.wbm.ca ___ X KWQ/2 1.2i X Shh! Be vewy vewy quiet!
