Hello Assaf,
Replying to a message of Assaf Shool to Doug Reynolds:
DR>> You are going to pay a lot of $$$ since 100mb stuff is expensive.
AS> True, but it ain't my money.:) Does Intel make any?
Assaf, you responded to my message where I said this subject was off topic
since it does not specifically have anything to do with OS2 LANs. Please
discontinue this subject here and move it to another conference. To help you
in doing that, I will ask you to look on the web sites for Intel
(www.intel.com) and 3COM (www.3com.com) for your 100Mb hubs. I do happen to
know that 3COM makes a 8 port 100Mb hub (Office Connect model) for about
$500-$700 or so. Several other companies make them as well - look in the
back pages of any PC Magazine or LAN magazine.
Please remember, this subject is OFF TOPIC here unless it has to do with OS2
networking. I do expect to see no further posts from anyone on this message
thread.
Regards, Alec Herrmann, Moderator, OS2LAN.
