JD+I think honest surveys have always shown most citizens to
  +be pretty much on our side. It's up to us to help keep it
  +that way, and keep our legislators informed of our feelings.
In the past everytime a talk show had gun control as a topic all most 
all of them (callers) were 100% on our side.
