  You put in a 2 meter or 20 meter RF signal and get a 6 meter signal to
feed the antenna.  :-) :-)
  Seriously TenTec is a respectable outfit and makes good products
and Band Converters are old and well proven technology. The only Minor
problem, Particualrly for SSB and or DX fans, is the fairly Low power
output. You might want an 6 meter amplifier for non repeater work. But
it is the Cheapest entry into 6 meters arround.
