subject: Urgent Sale!

G'day, Bill...

BM> I just bought them three hours ago (and I can't return them, 'cause
BM> my supplier doesn't allow refunds or exchanges),

BG->Wanna bet? If they are unfit for the purpose for which they were
BG->originally intended, you are legally entitled to a full cash refund.
BG->In fact, if your dealer is physically displaying a NO REFUNDS sign (as
BG->do thousands of businesses), he is also liable to a $10k fine.

What you're saying is most certainly true, in the case of retail
transactions. You'll find many wholesalers, although willing to refund
and/or exchange when pushed, are loath to do so, and generally have a
clause excluding them from such obligations in the contract dealers must
sign to purchase from them.

Doesn't matter as it turns out though, as the cards were sold
within the first couple of hours of me posting the message, so I've got the
cash to buy ISA cards with...

        Have fun!
                                                                - Bob.

... Assembly line workers do it over and over.
