But cars are patented, which offers the same protection against product
counterfeiting that copyright does for works. If I had a garage making
counterfeit Rolls Royces, I'd be violating the law just as surely as I would
by making a copy of a tape. And besides, the *designs" for cars *are*
copyrighted. And cars come from those designs just like Disney movies come
from Disney's "movie designs".
Anyhow, I don't want to get into this again.
