| subject: | Problem with initgraph |
-> MD> Hi, I seem to be having !ymany many many errors with Turbo -> MD> C++. I entered a program out of a book, checked it over many -> MD> times, had other people check it over, and compiled it. I -> MD> always get 1 warning and 5 errors. The errors always have to -> MD> do with stuff like initgraph, setcolor, lineto, moveto, etc. -> MD> I also try running other programs included with Turbo C++ and -> MD> they always conclude with the same errors I get! Here's an -> MD> example of the program TENDRILS.CPP: -> -> > [THE PROGRAM] -> -> MD> There it is. There's not a problem with any of the examples -> MD> included with Turbo C++ or anything wrong with the program -> MD> above. It all has something to do with initgraph. Any -> MD> suggestions? Write me here or e-mail be at -> MD> Toe.Nail@juno.com. -> -> Make sure you have linked in the graphic.lib file in your project. -> If you have done that and your graphic card supports the VGAHI-mode -> I can't understand what's wrong. -> -> //Anders -> -> --- Yeah, that graphics.lib is the main problemo. Now I've got an even bigger problem, there's a calc program which works fine, it's CALC.H, CALC.CPP, and CALC_APP.CPP. Then a project file, CALC_APP.PRJ which inckudes the 2 .CPP files. When I run the main .EXE file, I get a BGI error. Graphics not initialized. Use 'initgraph'. But I did! And graphics.lib is selected! --- GOMail v2.0 [94-0605] ----------------> * Origin: (2:203/512.13) * Origin: The Buzzard's Roost, Pueblo, CO (719) 564-8235 (1:307/8) |
