I'm having a bit of a problem trying to understand the facination with
listening to railroad frequencies. I've plugged in the standard bunch
of freqs, including those in the 400MHz area and listened to the various
railroads in and around Atlanta.
From my personal perspective (and not ment to flame anyone) but the
transmissions I heard after a week absolutely bored me to tears.
I'm obviously missing something here - I would very much appreciate
those in this conference that listen to railroads to enlighten me in
terms of what you listen for and what you get out of it.
I'm not stupid, just very slow in this part of the radio spectrum.
Also, I'll be traveling to Gulfport/Buloxi Mississippi the first part of
April. If there is anyone that makes it a habid of lurking here from
that area, I'd be happy to link up with you the first part of April.
