Hi Ken,

   I am almost certain PM is the problem in my case.  The following
one line batch file running under Win95a causes the problem:

g:\sx\xpreadp

   Xpreadp is the PM version of my OLR.  If I use "xpread", the
non-PM version, I don't have the problem.  It looks like PM causes
it but PM is not the only thing that causes it.

   If I enter "g:\sx\xpreadp" from the DOS command line (no batch)
there is no problem.  The same for "command /K g:\sx\xpreadp".
