DR->Todd it sounds like what you want to do is not have a shared modem, but

I have installed WinGate and it seems easy enough. My problem now is
that I don't understand everything about networks. My current problem is
as follows:
NT is the "server" (running Workstation, though) and my 95 machine is
connect. When I click on Neighborhood Network on the 85 machine it sees
the NT computer. But when I do the same on the NT machine it tells me
that the network is not resent or not started. I know the connectio is
there as I can go into File Manager on the NT machine and share
directories. I figure I must have some sort of setting incorrect on the
NT machine but I cannot find it.
