Hello to all  :)
We just started picking up this echo again after a long time away  :(
I thought that I might introduce my wonderful family... (fondly nicknamed The 
Zoo)  :)
We have Joey; our first budgie  :)  The little turquoise rascal has one heck 
of an attitude and mimics everything from the cats to the dogs to anything
else that he hears a lot of...
Murder and Mayhem are my newest budgie additions  :)  My little babies were a 
Valentine's Day present from hubby  :)  Murder is a beautiful white with a 
blue rump... Mayhem is very light powder blue... These little guys are just 
starting training but I can tell already that they are going to be a joy to
have around  :)
Stanley (named after Stan Laurel) is our cockatiel...  He (although I have a 
sneaking suspicion the *he* is a *she*) is our computer bird... he loves 
nothing more than to chase the mouse around or just sit happily on one of our 
shoulders while we are at the cmoputers  :)
And our newest addition hasn't been named yet  :)  We are awaiting the 
utcome
of the DNA testing so that we don't have a Stanley/Stanleyette occurance 
gain
 :)  This little sweetie is a maroon bellied conure hatched on Jan 4 of this 
year  :)  This one is a wonderful snuggle bug and loves to curl up with mom 
n
the couch and watch TV or watch mom craft  :)
Aside from the birds, we also have 2 dogs, 3 cats, a water dragon, 2 mice, a 
newt, 10+ aquariums, and this summer 2 angora rabbits  :)  I think that we 
will start selling peanuts at the door  :)
I'm also hoping to get a larger bird in the future.  I was looking at a 
ellow
naped amazon...  just couldn't justify it right now though... I couldn't 
devote the time due to extra work... but soon all that will be over and I'll 
have plenty of "extra" time  :)
I would love to hear from other conure owners about habit and what they 
have been able to do with their friends...
