Hi Christian,
Have you succeeded in getting the 2 machines in question to network
together whilst both running win95, or both running os2?
If not, you might have an incorrect interrupt or DMA address set
on one of the machines.
Otherwise, if you are confident that the 2 computers can talk to each
other, check to make sure that the Domain Names/Workgroups are identical
on both machines. eg"IBMPEERS".
On the win95 machine, set NetBEUI as the default protocol.(NetBEUI
properties in the Network setup folder) Check that bindings has client for
Microsoft networks, and File and printer sharing for Microsoft networks
checked)
In "file and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks" properties, try setting
browse master enabled and LM announce to Yes. (I'm not convinced about this
one but I've read in other news messages that it helps)

On the Os/2 machine use Netbios.
(If you want to use TCPIP, thats another ball game.
Worry about that after you get NetBEUI/Netbios going.)
Make sure you allowed file and printer resources to be shared.

Good Luck.
Regards Greg.......
