I can't say that, no. I only offered it as a suggestion, and it is no more 
ridiculous than any suggestion you made, since neither of us have conducted

I have not received my briefing from the players' union concerning the mental 
state of the association. Obvously you have the inside track. I, on the other 
hand, can only speculate.

Yep, and with the Dodgers, he would be needed in a LOT of places. I guess 
we'll have to continue with our present situation where the Dodgers keep 
getting the Rookie awards and the Braves keep getting the rings. Not only 
that, but five years from now Dye will be an annual all-star, and Todd will 
be WHO? Witness the reverse fortunes of last year's duel, Jones and Nomo. 
Jonesy just puts up another yar like last year, while Nomo was victimized by 
the jinx.
