Don't have two heavy duty machines at the moment.
I just won't configure to mount HDA on boot and
Windows should be out of risk save for the dual boot
setup.

Knoppix has telnet and I can already write online.
There's a Linux InfoZip?
I use Pkzip 2.50 in DOS here.

I didn't see LinLoader in there but something about GRUB, something I'll
have to look into.
If Windows get clobbered... oh well .

 Want to bet I lack the patience to wait and go the multiboot route?
 I've done dual boot before and had only one screwup but
 as I'd a zipped copy of the entire C drive on another partition
 it wasn't a problem.

Yeah there's a lot of arrogant attitude out there in Linux land.
Fortunately with Knoppix everyone can fast track themselves.
