Given that none of my own USRs has ever displayed any of the so-called bugs
that you reckon you found, I very much doubt that USR have issued a
flash-ROM which rectifies operator error.

You could have had an unapproved Courier for well under A$500, had you not
been suffering from terminal paranoia.  :)
