Hi Harald,
Thank you for that great confimation.  Yes  the Cyberia link is where I 
downloaded the two files from - it was veeeeery slow though :-( , but I 
got them complete in the end with PMDC.  i shall go and flash that BIOS 
up to 2001 from 1996.
