 Sorry...the only products I have experience with are Watcom, EMX, and gcc/2.
 EMX and gcc/2 also both have text mode debuggers (gdb).  However, I do not
 know if either has a PM debugger (Watcom has both.)
 
 Watcom, EMX and gcc/2 all have profilers, however.  EMX and gcc/2 have
 three different types of profiling; Watcom only has one.

 EMX, gcc/2 and Watcom all have good optimization, with Watcom being the
 better of the three.  However, Watcom's compiler isn't quite as portable,
 so it has a slight advantage...its code isn't written to be portable, so
 it has the advantage of having faster native code, rather than having to
 deal with portability issues.
