my replacement since July 2002.

Incidentally, because everyone seems to miss the point: I bought the HD 
in February 2002 and it went broke in Juin 2002. The least I was 
entitled to expect was the broken one replaced by a _new_ one. But 
instead I got three in a row _used_ and _two years old_  (not suitable) 
disks. 

IBM hard disks are history, just as IBM printers and IBM keyboards are.
