An understandment of gigantic proportions. Here is one M.D. who is
firmly pro-gun. Most (meaning A MAJORITY) of my colleagues are, as well.
Although the left-wing press would have you believe that physicians are
strongly for elimination of the RTKBA, the truth is quite the opposite.

I _try_ to make points for our side whenever and wherever I can. If I
hear some of the mindless anti-gun drivel bandied about I challenge it as
swiftly as I possibly can. Being a realist, I don't preach so hard that I
drive the uncommitted into the enemy camp, and I often accept a bit less than
I want rather than taking an all-or-nothing stance and ending up with
nothing, as, for instance, with the new concealed carry law here in Texas.
This has sometimes led to criticism from others, such as our moderator, that
I am selling out. I assure you that I am not.
