Are you using the [node_remap] section in external.bbb, or are you letting bbbs
find this node in the nodelist?

I've had this kind of thing happen to me when I messed up some small detail in
the remap section, like forgetting the comma in ",1:xx/xxx.0[...] or the .0 in
the node number in the node remap section.
