      I was just curious--are you the same person that used to post in the 
Music Composition echo a long time ago?? There was a Bonnie Goodwin on that 
echo that always had something cool to say...
      If so, I propose that we install a James Bond-type remote control radio 
interceptor which forces the noise polluters to listen to Schoenberg's 
"Pierre Lunaire"...if they are truly in a drug-induced state, they may have 
horrible hallucinations,prompting them to quickly trade in there stereos, 
shave their heads & buy mopeds.
      My apologies if I am horribly off-topic. I for one wear earplugs with a 
29 dB cutback to prevent exposure to this stuff. I live right next to the 
highway on the Massachusetts/New Hampshire border.Lots of noise,constantly. I 
live in a mobile home,72 feet long--we had someone living next door to us 
(illegally,but that's another story) who had his speakers mounted on the wall 
attached to the other side of our kitchen wall. This is at the far end of the 
house. 72 feet away, in the master bedroom, I could hear that "artificial 
˙bass" stuff loud & clear,with my wimpy stereo up full blast to combat the 
noise. There is a noise ordinance here, but it doesn't go into effect until 
10:30 PM.
