Well 400 MHz on up with 256 Meg minimum memory. Reviewing my finances I may well be able to go straight to DSL in near future :-) CA> You need the OLR, InfoZip, and a telnet with zmodem CA> up/downloading. I use ztelnet with my mini-installs. Not normally a problem unless you re-install windoze, at RJT> which point it gets overwritten... Not a problem. I'll use fips -t to make a copy of the existing MBR for each and every modification and include a text file revealing which rootboot.00? file describes what partition arrangement :-) I may Fdisk/mbr the drive right off the bat before I resize it then reinstall using restorrb to restore that MBR to Windows configuration. This should allow me to play with safety within reason. I'm finding my Knoppix experience is going far more smoothly than expected. I need to do some drive housekeeping in preparation to installing GRUB but after that it's dual boot all the way with three Gig for Linux and three Gig for Windows. Whatever GRUB does to the MBR I'll snag a copy of that as well. WC> I'm into dark humor. WC> One of my all time favorite movies is "Dr. Strangelove."
