Thanks for your reply.  The version I saw of MetaStock was windows based and
very impressive.  Only feature missing was a portfolio ie it won't
automatically track your current holdings.  I have also been looking at
another program called "Sharefinder".  It is DOS based and a 
bit more expensive.  Will let you know what I eventually decide to do.
