SCA drives don't have termination jumpers. They usually do have
termination power jumpers. With only three drives, you may need none
enabled, but I'd enable only the one on the end of the cable.

You need an active terminator on the end of the cable if you have three
drives. A passive terminator might do if you have fewer. Also, if one
drive is not SCA, you may be able to use its built in passive
termination if it is on the connector at the end of the cable.

There are two typical causes of this:

1-You also have IDE drives, and the IDE driver loads first
2-(after installation is complete) drive letter shift from adding drives
and/or changing order of drives and/or adding/removing visible primary
partitions

I suppose unreliable termination could have similar impact (drive letter
shift, or randomly visible drives).

Termination is a SCSI issue, not an OS2/eCS issue.
