MB> Nope.
RT> So what is the reason for this imperfection?
mb> Our imperfection is the perfection of how we are made.
FR> Quite obviously the gods and goddesses are created in the image of those
FR> who created them so naturally the Christian pantheon, along with
FR> thousands of other gods and goddesses, are depicted as evil.
mb> Yes, but this has nothing whatever to do with it.
FR> It has everything to do with it. Humanity's evil is an artifact of our
FR> predatory evolutional development and our capacity for intelligence.
FR> Naturally humans create their gods and goddesses to conform to their
FR> baser instincts.
I really don't want to start any dialogue with you a la Holysmoke but
ince
you so gratuitously attacked my intellignec in the past I just have to point
out to any novice that might appear here that that statement of yours is
absolute and utter bull without any scintilla of reason or history behind it.
Now, take your best shot. It lacks REASON most of all. People don't
create"
gods and goddesses, they experience forces in the psyche that are symbolized
as both human and divine.
I'm sure I'll get a spate of mumbo-jumbo positivistic words to choke a
horse as a "reasoned answer."
Sincerely,
Frank
