Thanks for that Jim.  Now that I think of it, when I saw the Ranger, the
Midway was parked next to it.  Although modified to take jets, the
WW2-vintage Midway looked very different from its more-modern
counterpart which had been built from the ground up to take jets.
BTW, I also saw the Nimitz during that visit.  Big!
