T23 here - eCS working very well. Only negative is the built in modem is

W2k is a good choice. It is also running nicely on my T23.
If you buy the machine, you will want to set it up for a bootmanager dual
boot (or 3 if you want a maintenance partition for eCS). DFSee is very
helpful in managing the hard disk partitions, and is very aware of LVM
stuff.
Make a C partition, install W2k there. Maybe a D partition for shared
data - FAT32 (there is a good FAT32 driver for eCS) and then the HPFS eCS
boot partition, any HPFS data partitions, and the maint partition.
